Call to Order- 6:35PM

Pledge of Allegiance

Principal’s Comments:

• Michelle Jackson could not be in attendance

Treasurer’s Report – March 2023  

• Deposits have been made from Art to Remember, Gertrude Hawk, Anita’s Dip fundraiser, Plaza Azteca Dine and Donate, Bingo, Teacher Appreciation snack shop.

• Expenses include lanyards for 4th Grade Celebration, pizza for Watchdogs Night (1/2), Skate Night, Popcorn machine, babysitting for PTA Meetings.

Membership:  

• There are currently 72 members.

Teacher Grants:

• Alicia Noll (Intervention Specialist): Requested $100 Reading program membership – monthly membership fee for Reading Simplified: reading program training and materials
• Barb Miller (Virtual Teacher/Reading Support): Requested $100 for Items needed in classroom.

April – Meeting 4/11

• Dine and Donate – Fiore’s Chill and Grill – 4/19 (11AM-8PM)

• Spirit Wear Sale – link is coming and will start 4/17 and lasts for 2 weeks

• 4th Grade Celebration Fundraiser – Lanyards – $5 each

• The Shop Fundraiser – waiting on cards – unsure if it will happen

• 4th Grade Celebration Dine & Donate – Panera Bread 4/26 4-8pm

May – Meeting 5/9

• Dine and Donate – Rita’s – 5/24 5-8pm

• Book Fair – 5/1-5/4

• Open House – 5/2 6-8pm – 4th Graders will sell lanyards there as well

• 4th Grade Celebration Dine & Donate – MOD Pizza 5/10 – all day

• Teacher Appreciation – 5/8-5/12

• Givebacks – will roll out soon

*We do a variety of fundraisers so that you can decide which ones best fit your family. Please do not feel as though you need to participate in every fundraiser. 

Old Business:

• Watch D.O.G.S. – rolled out – Pizza Night was a huge success, 82 males in attendance

• Yearbook – coming along

• ArtsPower – Broadway style presentations online, purchasing 5 licenses; one per grade for $250

• Playground – equipment has been installed over Spring Break

• Leave a Snack – Benching until the fall

New Business:

• Discussion about getting a PTA credit card so that we do not need to do as many reimbursements

Nominations for Board –

• We need a nominating committee for the new year

• 3 year limit on terms instead of 2 year

• We have 1 person leaving the board, so we have one spot open

• Dave Crissman has agreed to be on the nominating committee, we still need 2 more members

• Jodi Gauker and Rebecca Bieber are willing to be on the nominating committee
